Born in 1970 in Uliyanovsk. Graduated from the Savitskiy Art College in Penza and the Surikov Art Institute in
Moscow (faculte of easel painting, studio under the guidance of professors M. Abakumov and V. Sidorov)
A. Drozdov follows the best traditions of the Dutch artists of the XVII century. Rapid brush strokes, flashes and
twinkles of light, almost monochromatic colour based on the tints of brown and green, create the peculiar emotion.
